Participation of representatives of the State Electoral Commission of the Republic of Croatia in observing the general local elections in the Republic of Moldova, November 5, 2023
At the invitation of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Moldova, a delegation of the State Electoral Commission of the Republic of Croatia, consisting of SEC members Ivana Belec and Draženko Pandek, participated in the observation of the general local elections in the Republic of Moldova, which took place on November 5, 2023.
Representatives of SEC Croatia attended a meeting with the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Moldova and delegations of election commissions from other states that observed the elections. The Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Moldova presented the electoral system and other aspects of conducting general local elections in the Republic of Moldova. On the election day, representatives of SEC Croatia monitored the election process from the opening of polling stations, the conduct of voting to the closing of polling stations and the counting of results, and attended the announcement of the first unofficial results in the premises of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Moldova.
